Wow, what a crazy game. I can’t remember Washington having so many big plays in one game. It’s a good thing too, because the simple plays just aren’t getting made. But this is just what Washington needed. Chris Stevens continues to show that he is really the best player on the special teams unit. That was the first blocked punt for a touchdown for the UW since Dana Hall did it against Iowa in the 1991 Rose Bowl.

Dashon Goldson is out, and Matt Fountaine has been banged up, leaving Mesphin Forrester at cornerback. But the Cougar pass game has not been good in the second half.
