TUKWILA – The Wesco softball team didn’t fare too well Wednesday at the 2007 Senior All-Star Challenge, losing twice without scoring a run.
The Wesco squad finished with just four hits in their opener – Jenna Mohrweis from Jackson accounted for two of those – a 12-0 loss to the team from South Puget Sound League.
In the second game, the Wesco team was no-hit by the Narrows Bay and Bridge/Seamount Pierce/Pac 9 team in a 7-0 loss.
“Some girls are going to college to play, some aren’t,” Wesco coach Curt Eskeback said. “So getting an extra two games was like frosting on the cake.”
