The allocation would allow the National Park Service to purchase from The Nature Conservancy land surrounding the 150-year-old Ferry House at Ebey’s Landing. The move would maintain the property’s rural use. The Nature Conservancy plans to use all the funds it receives to establish an endowment for long-term ecological and historic stewardship at the reserve.
