Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council and school board actions.

  • Arlington: $3,025 to Bill’s Blueprint Inc. of Everett for blueprints for various projects.

    $646 to Arlington’s River Rock Inn for rented space for the City Council’s day retreat on June 9.

  • Bothell: $127,920 to the city of Bellevue to provide communication for fire and emergency medical services personnel for 2007.

  • Everett: $17,000 to Dykeman Architects P.S. of Everett for interior design services for the Everett Performing Arts Center and the Everett Police Station.

    $157,500 to the Downtown Everett Association to manage a city parking garage for the next three years.

    $15,000 to Imagine Children’s Museum to produce and market an educational DVD on public transportation.

  • Marysville: $400,000 to Systems Interface Inc. of Bothell to upgrade electronic communications for the city’s water and wastewater systems.

    $99,685 to CH2MHill of Bellevue to study ways for the city to remove ammonia from wastewater at its treatment plant.

  • Snohomish: $350 to City Manager Larry Bauman for attending a conference in Tacoma.

    $20,785 to Snohomish County Treasurer, of Everett, for county jail fees for April.

    $11 to Tim Jackson, a city employee, for a meal reimbursement during a storm-water class.
