A quick note on the basketball team

It may be football season, but the men’s basketball team is also practicing right now. The Huskies leave Monday for an 11-day trip to Greece—watch for more on this in the paper soon—and they just found out they’ll be short-handed on the trip.

Since they are not enrolled yet in school, incoming freshmen are not allowed on the trip, so Washington was already planning on traveling with only nine players. The Huskies just found out, however, that sophomore center Artem Wallace will not be able to go because of passport problems.

That leaves the Huskies with only eight players for the five-game trip.
