The men’s basketball team played the last game on its trip to Greece Tuesday, losing 93-85 to Daphni of the Greek Professional League. That makes the Huskies 2-3 on the trip.

Snohomish’s Jon Brockman had his fourth double-double of the trip, scoring a team-high 21 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. He finished the trip averaging 18.6 points and 10.8 rebounds. That performance should be encouraging for Husky fans, though not all that unexpected. The best thing that might have come out of the trip was a chance for three players who sat out last season to see game actions.

Tim Morris, a transfer from Stanford, was second on the team with 12.8 points per game. He made six of eight three-point attempts on the trip. Joel Smith and Joe Wolfinger, who both missed last season with foot injuries, also got valuable experience on the trip.

One bit of bad news came out of today’s game, however, as guard Adrian Oliver suffered a broken nose.
