Monday news and notes

A few bits of news to pass on today. Washington cornerback Roy Lewis, who had 11 tackles, one interception and three pass breakups, was named the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week. Lewis was also named the team’s defensive players of the week, while receiver Anthony Russo took home offensive honors for the Huskies. Chris Stevens was named the special teams player of the week for Washington.
One more interesting awards note, SI On Campus named Jake Locker its player of the week.
We also learned today that Washington’s game at UCLA on Sept. 22 will be played at 7:15 p.m. and be televised on FSN.
The depth chart for this week’s game against Ohio State is also out today, and looks pretty much the same as it has in previous weeks.
The only change I’m noticing is at fullback, where Luke Kravitz is again listed as the backup to Paul Homer. Kravitz missed Washington’s last game because of a hand injury suffered against Syracuse.
