The bandwagon is filling up

It seems like more and more national media is jumping on the Jake Locker/UW bandwagon each day. As I linked to earlier in the week, one of the Sporting News’ two “experts” picked the Huskies, while SI.com put the Huskies in its rankings at No. 24.
Now, Bruce Feldman at espn.com likes the Huskies in a 17-14 upset, saying that a loud crowd a speedy UW defense will cause problems for the Buckeyes.
At CBSsports.com, three of five experts pick the Huskies.
USA Today had a feature on Locker today as well.
The Master Coaches Survey gave Kent Baer props as the defensive coordinator of the week. By the way, check out their website. The coaches who make up the Master Coaches Survey, many of them college hall of famers, all have facebook pages. I mean, who hasn’t thought in the past “Man, I sure wish I was facebook friends with Hayden Fry.” Well now is your chance, folks.
As always, we don’t have access to players and coaches on Friday, so there won’t be much else to report before game day. I’ll check in tomorrow if there are any interesting stories to pass on.
