Edmonds-Woodway grad is college soccer’s player of the week

Washington’s Kevin Forrest, an Edmonds-Woodway grad, was named the national player of the week by CollegeSoccerNews.com

Forrest scored two goals to help the Huskies win the Nike/Crescent Financial Solutions Invitational title in New Mexico. Forrest, last year’s Pac-10 player of the year, was a preseason All-American and is a candidate for the MAC Hermann Trophy, given each year to college soccer’s top player.
