UCLA to go with backup QB

It looks like UCLA quarterback Ben Olson, who has been sidelined this week with “headaches” (Bruins coach Karl Dorrell hasn’t called it a concussion), won’t be starting against the Huskies.

Patrick Cowan, whose father Tim played quarterback at Washington, will get the start. Cowan is more mobile than Olson, but has been sidelined for most of the fall with a hamstring injury, so he may not run as much as he usually would.
