At the Rose Bowl

Just got to the Rose Bowl, where the grounds crew is taking a tarp off the field. It rained pretty hard earlier today, but the sun is starting to break through the clouds. According to the good folks over at weather.com, we shouldn’t be seeing much rain during the game.

Oh, and before the rest of California can ask, yes we Washingtonians did in fact bring the weather down with us (sorry, I just had to get that out after being asked “did you bring the weather down with you?” about 10 times last night. There, I feel better). I almost stopped on my way into the stadium to laugh at one group of tailgaters who were bundled up like they were at Packers game in February. So it rained a little, it’s still 66 degrees people. The gloves might be a little bit of overkill.

Time to go roam around and explore this place. I’ll check back before the game if I feel the need to make fun of any more tailgaters.
