Locker to Reece for the lead

After a long (7:04, 16 plays) field-goal drive by Arizona State to open the game, the Huskies came back with touchdown. After the Huskies had back-to-back false starts followed by a two-yard run on first-and-20, Jake Locker found Marcel Reece in the back of the end zone for a 36-yard touchdown.

The ASU fans didn’t like the touchdown call, and it was reviewed, but officials stuck with the original call.

A pretty good start for Rankin on that drive, gaining 24 yards on six carries.
