‘The Ten Commandments’

Don’t expect Charlton Heston or Yul Brynner. This new version of “The Ten Commandments” is animated and features the voices of Ben Kingsley, Christian Slater, Alfred Molina and Elliott Gould in the story of the reluctant prophet Moses, who was the only man in biblical history to see the face of God and call him “friend.” The movie is rated PG and opens today at Everett, Marysville, Stanwood and Meridian.
