Flags available for Veterans Day

Lynnwood Rotary and Boy Scout Troop 304 want to see more U.S. flags in residential yards and in front of Lynnwood businesses.

The groups are promoting a “Celebrate America” flag installation and care plan.

For $30, participants can have a flag installed for display on Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. After each holiday, the flag will be removed by the groups, cared for and then returned for the next patriotic display.

If the service is purchased before Nov. 11, the full five days in 2008 will be included.

Volunteers from the Rotary and Boy Scouts will visit businesses and residences to offer the service. For more information, call Bob Fuller at 425-640-6990.
