We’ll start off with our coverage today. First, here’s a story that looks at the seniors and their final attempt to leave as winners. Not really Husky related, but there was also a column calling for a playoff system in college football. We also had a notebook looking at the departure of J.R. Hasty and also the new Legends Center opening this weekend.

Speaking of the Legends Center, it’s definitely worth stopping by for Husky fans if you’re down there early before a game. We got a preview of it yesterday, and there is some interesting memorabilia, picture, videos, etc.

The Tucson Citizen says Wildcats might run more than usual in light of Washington’s struggles against the run. Washington defensive coordinator and several defensive players said this week that they wouldn’t be surprised if Arizona tried to run on them. How the Huskies respond, if Arizona does in fact try to attack that weakness, will be telling for the rest of the season. Giving up big yards to offenses like Oregon is one thing, but if the struggling Wildcats offense can run all over the Huskies, they’re really in trouble down the stretch.

The Citizen also has a column about Arizona quarterback Willie Tuitama, calling on him to step up and lead a struggling team.

The Arizona Daily Star has a story on Jake Locker, and for some reason they have the same mistake in their Locker story as the Citizen did yesterday, saying Locker had four interceptions against Oregon. Once you get past that, however, it’s worth a read.
