What is is about SPU?

One night after the SPU men’s team gave the Huskies trouble in an exhibition game, the women’s team is doing the same. SPU leads 34-30 at half behind Kelsey Hill’s game-high 10 points.

SPU is shooting 51.7 percent, while the Huskies are shooting 40.9 percent. Neither team is taking care of the ball very well, as both teams had 16 first-half turnovers.

Heidi McNeill leads the Huskies with nine points, while Sami Whitcomb has eight. Strangely enough, 5-foot-5 guard Emily Florence has a game-high five rebounds right now.
