Cougs up at halftime

Washington State scored touchdowns on its last two possessions, and leads 21-20 after one half.

Looks like we could be looking at a typically wild Apple Cup finish. The Cougars have been inconsistent on offense, but have looked good at times. On their first five possessions, the Cougars had three three-and-outs, a three-play touchdown drive and a five-play touchdown drive.

The Huskies are getting torched right now by third-string tight end Devin Frischknecht, who has four catches for 83 yards, including two touchdowns.

Alex Brink is also having a big half, completing 14 of 19 passes for 222 yards and the two touchdown passes to Frischknecht.

Louis Rankin has 11 carries for 48 yards, plus the kickoff return for a touchdown. Locker has rushed six times for 41 yards, and has completed just seven of 22 pass attempts for 110 yards (four of those incompletions were drops).
