Adrian Oliver to transfer and other hoops news

Lorenzo Romar announced at a press conference today that sophomore guard Adrian Oliver is going to transfer. Romar said that Oliver informed him of that decision today, citing a desire to be closer to his family. With Oliver’s departure, Quincy Pondexter remains the only player from the 2006 recruiting class still on the roster. Phil Nelson transfered to Portland State last spring, and Spencer Hawes left early for the NBA draft.
Ryan Appleby is back practicing and will likely be a game-time decision.
