Since an Appleby three gave Washington a 37-29 lead late in the first half, Pitt has outscored the Huskies 18-9, and now leads 47-46 with 15:19 left in the game.

Pitt struggled shooting the ball in the first half, but in that stretch the Panthers are seven for eight. Make that eight of nine, and with a pair of free throws the Pitt lead is now 51-46
