Wow, what a finish. Pitt escapes Seattle with a 75-74 win, but that result was uncertain when time expired. With 4.3 seconds left, Justin Dentmon took the ball the length of the floor, and appeared to have hit the game-winning floater, but replays showed that the ball was still in his hand when time expired and after checking the monitor at courtside, the shot was waved off.
The Huskies were within one thanks to another Ryan Appleby three, his sixth of the night, with seven seconds left. Appleby led the Huskies with 18 points in his first game back, while Brockman had 17 points and 12 rebounds.
