“Winetrails of Washington: A Guide for Uncorking Your Memorable Wine Tour” by Steve Roberts is a comprehensive new guidebook that offers everyone, from the curious novice to the wine connoisseur, a chance to explore the hundreds of wineries in Washington that have tasting rooms open to the public.

This full-color 572-page guidebook shows 32 different “tasting trails” consisting of five to 10 wineries and tasting rooms that can be visited in one or two days. The book features a profile of each of the wineries, including a description of the winery, the winemaker’s philosophy, photos, contact information, tasting room hours, maps and driving directions.

The author will attend a book release party scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at The Tasting Room, 1924 Post Alley in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. It’s free and open to the public. For more information, call The Tasting Room at 206-770-9463.
