Parties inspire creative voting

After reading in Saturday’s paper that I am not the only “citizen” who believes I am being held captive to the selfish wishes of the political parties in this state, I have a solution on how to express your discontent with the overbearing and heavy-handedness of the Democratic and Republican machines.
I plan on running my primary ballot through the shredder, then dividing the pieces up into three equal parts and mailing them to both parties headquarters and the remaining third in its “official” return envelope to the auditor’s office. Now, where are those left-over 36-cent stamps?
