Huskies make Brian White hiring official

As we reported late last night, the Huskies are hiring former Syracuse and Wisconsin offensive coordinator Brian White to fill one of their two vacant coaching positions (running backs and tight ends/special teams).

The school made it official with this press release today, though White was not available to speak with reporters.

The release says White is expected to take the tight ends/special teams job, but that could change depending on who else Washington hires.

Word is that we’ll probably hear from him Monday.
