Everett City Council annual retreat, noon to 4 p.m. today, Walter E. Hall Golf Course clubhouse, 1226 W. Casino Road. Council members plan to review objectives for the coming year and listen to updates from city staff on signal timing and other transportation projects as well as the city’s shoreline public access plan.
Everett City Council meeting, 6:30 p.m. today, City Council Chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave., the council is expected to put out to bid a multimillion dollar grading project for Everett Riverfront.
Everett Senior Activity Center coffee meeting with Mayor Ray Stephanson, 10:30 a.m. today, 3025 Lombard Ave. in downtown Everett. Stephanson plans to talk about planned upgrades to the senior center and efforts to bring a University of Washington campus to Everett.
Granite Falls City Council, 7 p.m. tonight, Council Chambers, 206 S. Granite Ave. Business license requests for Jeanne’s Cleaning Service and Glamour Pets are among the agenda items.

Lake Stevens Library Board, 4 p.m. Thursday, Lake Stevens Library, 1804 Main St.
Stanwood City Council, 7 p.m. Thursday, Stanwood-Camano School District Administration Building, 26920 Pioneer Highway. The council is scheduled to vote whether to approve a contract for a construction firm to do renovations at Lions Park.
