FYI: Forum tonight for Marysville parents

Published 11:15 pm Tuesday, March 11, 2008

The Marysville School Board plans to meet tonight to gather input on student behavior at Marysville middle schools.

The parent and community forum is 6 to 9 p.m. in the Cedarcrest Middle School Commons, 6400 88th Street NE.

The board plans to use the comments to help school administrators and staff develop a plan to address student behavior.

The forum follows a protest at Totem Middle School last week. Students walked out of class to advocate for less violence and stricter discipline.

The board does not plan to respond to speakers or discuss the issues tonight.

Comments may also be e-mailed to citizens_comments@msvl.k12.wa.us.
