Western Washington 30, Humboldt St. 14: At Arcata, Calif., quarterback Adam Perry completed 17 of 27 passes for 188 yards with two TDs as the Vikings (1-1, 1-1 GNAC) snapped a six-game losing streak by beating the Lumberjacks (1-2, 0-1). WWU broke a 14-14 tie with 16 unanswered points in the second half. Lynnwood High alum Randall Eldridge ran 23 times for 78 yards for the Vikings.

Central Washington 31, Western Oregon 24: At Monmouth, Ore., Johnny Spevak caught 11 passes for a career-high 197 receiving yards, the fourth-highest single-game receiving effort in CWU history, as the Wildcats beat the Wolves.

University of Puget Sound 37, Pomona-Pitzer 7: At Claremont, Calif., trailing 7-3, the Loggers scored 34 unanswered points to beat the Sagehens. Freshman kicker Wyatt Evenson booted a first-quarter field goal, the team’s first field goal in 42 quarters dating back to Nov. 4, 2006. Cascade High alum Phillip Thomas had seven tackles for the Loggers.
