Alexander reportedly works out with Detroit Lions

RENTON — As one former Seahawk (Koren Robinson) prepared for the first practice of his second stint with the team, and another (Josh Brown) got ready to come back to Seattle as a member of the St. Louis Rams, a third might be on the verge of finding a new job.

Running back Shaun Alexander worked out with the Detroit Lions this week, according to The Detroit News.

Alexander has been out of football since last season, having been released by the Seahawks in April. He has been working out at the University of Washington and hopes to get back into the league.
