SEATTLE — Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said quarterback Matt Hasselbeck iced his sore knee on the long plane ride back from Sunday’s 44-6 loss to the New York Giants and should be OK.

Hasselbeck hyperextended the knee in the first half Sunday.

A heel injury to receiver Deion Branch will be examined Monday, and the verteran wide receiver is likely to miss more playing time, Holmgren said. Branch missed the first three games while recovering from knee surgery.

Holmgren also told KIRO Radio that cornerback Kelly Jennings will undergo tests for a concussion to determine when he can play again.
