Seahawks QB to play despite bone bruise

SEATTLE — Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck said he suffered a bone bruise when his knee was hyperextended during a painful hit in Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants.

He told KIRO Radio it’s not a weight-bearing bone and he’ll be able to play in Sunday’s game against Green Bay in Seattle.
