Holmgren: Hasselbeck to miss practice

RENTON — Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck won’t practice Wednesday, coach Mike Holmgren said during his noon press conference.
Hasselbeck is nursing a sore knee but is expected to play Sunday against Green Bay.
“If Matt doesn’t practice all week and played Sunday, I’d be happy to have him,” Holmgren said.
Hasselbeck could practice later this week, but Holmgren did not have a definitive timetable for his return.
Backup Seneca Wallace strained his groin during a morning workout, so Charlie Frye will probably be the only quarterback available for this afternoon’s practice.
