SEATTLE — Mike Reilly threw for 371 yards and four touchdowns, setting an NCAA record in the process, as Central Washington defeated Western Washington 50-28 in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference game Saturday night.

After a safety gave Central Washington (6-1, 5-0 GNAC) an early 2-0 lead, Reilly connected with Sam Togar for a 10-yard touchdown.

It gave Reilly his 41st consecutive game throwing a touchdown pass, an NCAA record, supplanting Bill Borchert, who had touchdowns in 40 consecutive games for Mount Union (Division III) from 1994-97.

The touchdown also moved Reilly past current Detroit Lions quarterback Jon Kitna for most career touchdown passes at Central with the 100th of his career.

The quarterback for Western (3-3, 3-2), Adam Perry, was 22-of-36 for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
