Two men cut in knife fight in south Everett

EVERETT — A fight among roommates and a visitor in a south Everett apartment became bloody Wednesday night when someone pulled a knife.

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. at Hillcrest Estates in the 1000 block of 130th Street SW, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.

One roommate was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being sliced several times, Hover said. He is expected to fully recover.

The man visiting the apartment was taken to Stevens Hospital in Edmonds with what appeared to be minor cuts, she said.

The other roommate remains at large and deputies believe that man may be responsible for the stab wounds.

It’s unclear what the fight was about, Hover said. Deputies said the men didn’t speak English.
