A car being transported on I-5 by a large truck caught fire at about 1:15 p.m. on northbound I-5 just north of the 128th Street exit in South Everett.
The car was being transported with three other vehicles on the truck. The incident initially blocked all four lanes of the freeway, but the truck has moved to the side of the road and traffic lanes were being reopened.
At its worst, traffic was backed up for about four miles, according to the state Department of Transportation.
It was not immediately clear how the car caught fire, or if anyone was injured in the incident.
