Everett police seek suspects in two bank robberies

EVERETT — Police are looking for suspects in two bank robberies last week.

The first robbery occurred Oct. 31 at the Washington Mutual Bank in the 10200 block of 19th Avenue SE, Everett Police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

A man walked into the bank around 5:45 p.m. and demanded money from the teller. The suspect said he had a gun, but no weapon was seen, Goetz said.

The suspect is described as a white man 25 to 30 years old, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, 195 pounds with a muscular build. The man was unshaven and had an olive or tan skin tone. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and dark shoes.

The second robbery occurred Nov. 1 around 12:30 p.m., Goetz said. A man entered the Key Bank in the 1900 block of 110th Street SE and demanded cash from the teller. This suspect also said he was armed, but no weapon was seen.

He is described as a white man in his early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds. He has a pale, narrow face with scruffy facial hair.

The suspect was seen wearing a blue nylon jacket with black trim and a black hood. He also had on a gray ball cap with black stripes on the brim, jeans and dark athletic shoes.
