Our featured resale home this week is a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath Craftsman two-story with finished basement. It was built in 2000 and is in the Gleneagle subdivision near

Arlington, with views of the golf course.

A foyer with slate tile is just inside the home’s front entry. To the immediate left is a formal dining room with woodtone laminate flooring, wainscoting, shadowboxing, a double coffered ceiling, and bay window facing the street.

To the right is a sunken formal living room with plush carpeting, vaulted cathedral ceiling, windows facing the street and the golf course view, and a gas fireplace with granite tile hearth and surround. The fireplace is trimmed with an antique oak mantel and flanked by high vertical windows. A glass door in the room opens to a view deck at the back of the house.

An informal dining area and the kitchen are at the back of the house, affording more views of the golf course.

Kitchen features include woodtone laminate flooring, a center island, oak cabinets, granite countertops, black appliances, recessed lighting, and a large view window above the sink.

The informal dining area has two tall vertical windows.

A laundry room and a half bathroom complete the entry level. The laundry room is positioned off the kitchen. It has a utility sink and a door accessing the home’s attached three-car garage.

Features of the half bathroom include a pedestal sink and a high ceiling with crown molding.

A split staircase with access from the foyer and the dining area ascends to the upper level, which includes a bedroom suite, three bedrooms and a full bathroom.

All three bedrooms have double closets with bifold doors, and the full bathroom is completed with tile flooring, a long single vanity topped with tile, and a shower-tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

Among the highlights of the bedroom suite are wainscoting, crown molding, a cathedral ceiling, and view windows. Its five-piece bathroom has tile flooring, two separate single vanities topped with tile, a heart-shaped jetted tub encased in tile, and a separate room for the toilet and an oversized shower with fiberglass shell. An extra-large walk-in closet completes the suite.

Another staircase near the kitchen descends to the finished basement, which includes a rec room with surround sound and patio access, a full bathroom, den, bonus room, storage room and wine cellar.
