Lawmakers offer town hall meetings

OLYMPIA — Three area lawmakers will host town hall meetings Saturday in which residents can learn about potential state budget cuts, education reform, transportation and any other issues of concern.
Rep. Hans Dunshee, D-Snohomish, will hold two forums.
At 10 a.m., he will be in Room A of the Lake Stevens School District Administration Building at 12309 22nd St. NE
At 1 p.m., he will be in Mill Creek, in the small community room of the City Hall annex at 15720 Main St.

Also Saturday, Reps. Barbara Bailey, R-Oak Harbor, and Norma Smith, R-Clinton, will hold three hour-long coffee klatches to hear the concerns of residents.
At 9:30 a.m., Bailey and Smith will be at Langley City Hall, 112 Second St., Langley.
Then at 1 p.m. they’ll be on the Skagit Valley College satellite campus in Oak Harbor. They will be in Oak Hall Room 223 on the campus at 1900 SE Pioneer Way.
Their last public forum is at 4 p.m. at the Stanwood Senior Center, 7430 276th St. NW, Stanwood.
