Man run over, killed by girlfriend in Marysville, court records say

EVERETT — A Seattle woman was arrested on suspicion of murder for allegedly running over and killing her boyfriend outside his Marysville home on Tuesday night, court documents said.
Around 7:30 p.m, Snohomish County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 12800 block of 1st Avenue Northwest near Tulalip after a woman reported she hit someone with her vehicle, according to a police report.
The victim, a 43-year-old Marysville man, was found near a driveway on a 5-acre property with vehicle parts near his body, court documents said. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the man died at the scene.
The man was found shirtless and his back was covered with dark marks that deputies believe appeared consistent with road rash from being dragged, according to a police report. Tire marks near the man’s body suggested a car made a three-point turn and ran over the victim twice, court documents said.
Golda Hall, 43, of Seattle, was the only person on scene, the police report said. Her Acura SUV was also found at the location and deputies said the car was missing its front grill and a headlight, court documents said.
Deputies said they developed probable cause identifying Hall as the suspect in the man’s homicide, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. Investigators believe she drove over the victim in her vehicle.
A neighbor told detectives he heard a woman using a bullhorn amplifying a siren sound outside the victims’ property and could hear arguing before the man’s death, a police report said. Video from a nearby doorbell camera showed a woman outside the home yelling the victim’s name, according to court documents.
When detectives interviewed Hall she reportedly said she’d been living at the home with the man until recently, court documents said. She then allegedly admitted to detectives she had run over and killed her boyfriend, a police report said.
Hall was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder domestic violence and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation is active and ongoing. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim and determine the cause and manner of death.
