Arlington: Trail panel to meet Monday
The winter meeting of the Centennial Trail Coalition of Snohomish County is set for 7 p.m. Monday in Hadley Hall adjacent to the Arlington Boys &Girls Club, 18513 59th Ave. NE.
People interested in trails in Snohomish County are invited to attend.
The agenda includes progress reports on Centennial Trail work north to the Skagit County line and on Whitehorse Trail work east to Darrington.
The trail coalition plans a cleanup day on May 2. Volunteers are needed.

Learn to cultivate ornamental grasses
Master gardener Wink Cushman plans to talk about cultivating ornamental grasses at the next meeting of the Arlington Garden Club, 10 a.m. Saturday in Hadley Hall adjacent to the Arlington Boys &Girls Club, 18513 59th Ave. NE.
The workshop is free for members and offered for $3 to the public.

Marysville: School’s multicultural night
Marysville Middle School will host a multicultural night from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the cafeteria, 4923 67th St. NE.
The event is scheduled to feature food, music, dancers and guest speakers representing a variety of cultures. This event is free and everyone is invited.
Silvana: Saturday auction benefits fair
The only fundraising event for the free Silvana Community Fair is the annual auction at Viking Hall.
This year’s auction is set for 5 p.m. Saturday at the hall, 1331 Pioneer Highway, Silvana.
Refreshments include hot dogs, apple crisp, cookies, popcorn, ice cream, nachos, pop and coffee. The door prize is a trip for two to Las Vegas. Auction items include a golf cart, golf packages, a pony, homemade pies, two Holstein steer calves, a Holstein bull calf, antique saw blades and animal grain.
The fair is July 25 behind Viking Hall.

Tulalip: New dress code requirements
People who work for the Tulalip Tribes will be asked to adhere to a dress code when the tribal government moves into a new administration building in May. Tribes general manager Shelly Lacy told tribal members in her weekly report that the new dress code is part of an effort to serve the community as professionally as possible.
General Council meeting on Saturday
Tulalip tribal members are expected Saturday to elect two people to fill spots in the tribal government’s seven-member board of directors. The General Council meeting will be held all day Saturday in the Tulalip Casino. The meeting is open only to tribal members, who will have a chance to air ideas about changes to tribal government.
