Oregon’s Mike Bellotti stepping down as football coach

Reports from the Oregonian today are that head football coach Mike Bellotti is stepping down. It was announced during the season that offensive coordinator Chip Kelly would replace Bellotti when he decided to step down, and that Bellotti would take over as the school’s athletic director. It wasn’t know when that would occur, however, but it according to today’s reports, Kelly will take over for the upcoming season.
