Air Force Airman Ming Ni has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Hongyu Cao of Edmonds.

Air Force Airman Paul DeJarnette has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. DeJarnette is the son of Gregory and Adrienne DeJarnette of Lynnwood.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Ian M. Patrick, son of Kristine M. and Damon S. Patrick of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training and was meritoriously promoted to his current rank at Navy Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Patrick is a 2008 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Air Force Airman Andrew M. Bardo has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Lori Templeton of Arlington and is a 2008 graduate of Lake Stevens High School.
