Fidel Rueda’s solo show: Muy bien

Fidel Rueda has come a long way from playing house parties in Mexico — literally, a very long way.
The musician plans to headline a concert at Comcast Arena on April 25, with tickets on sale now.
Rueda, a native of Sinaloa, Mexico, founded the popular regional act Los Buitres de Culiacan, according to All Music Guide. He left the group over creative differences in 2006, launching a solo career with the album “Paz en Este Amor” in 2007.
The album, an upbeat blend of accordion, drums and horns, became a hit. Its title track went to No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. His latest album, 2009’s “Y Tu Que Harias,” is set to repeat that success, already reaching No. 34 on the Top Latin Albums chart.
Tickets are $42 in advance or $57 the day of the show. To purchase, go to www.comcastarenaeverett.com, call 866-332-8499 or visit the box office at 2000 Hewitt Ave., Everett.
