STANWOOD — Firefighters on Wednesday morning worked to stop flames from a barn from spreading to a nearby home.
When crews arrived in the 2400 block of 28th Avenue NW, they found the building engulfed in flames, North County Fire Battalion Chief Christian Davis said. At least 18 firefighters worked to protect two other buildings from the fire.
Damage is estimated at $30,000. An accident likely caused the fire, Davis said.
