This week’s featured new home is a three-bedroom, two- and one-half bath Craftsman-style two-story in the Northwood Ridge development east of Lynnwood in south Snohomish County.

Access is gained through a leaded glass front door that opens to a foyer decked with cherry flooring and a coffered ceiling with crown molding. A staircase positioned to the left is lined with wrought iron balusters and wall sconces.

A short hall leads into the living area on the main floor. An access door opens to a completely finished two-car garage on the right. The garage is enclosed by a double door with privacy glass.

On the left, a powder room is completed with hardwood flooring, granite slab countertop, beveled vanity mirror and a high ceiling.

Straight away, the formal living room is open to the second level and has lower- and upper-level windows. The room’s focal point is a natural gas fireplace trimmed with natural slate tile and framed by a formal surround.

Steps away are a center-island kitchen and informal dining area. Kitchen amenities include granite slab countertops and backsplashes, paneled wood cabinets with crown molding and plant shelves, a breakfast bar, drop-down lighting, and stainless steel appliances.

The nook features high, square-shaped privacy windows and sliders that open to an extended, exposed-aggregate backyard patio.

Completing the main floor is a private bedroom suite that includes a sleeping area with vaulted ceiling, five-piece bathroom, and walk-in wardrobe closet with two-tiered, ventilated wire storage shelves on three walls.

The bathroom benefits from ceramic tile flooring, a double vanity topped with matching tile, a soaker tub encased in a ceramic tile deck and surround with transom window positioned above, and a freestanding shower with ceramic tile surround.

Upstairs, two additional bedrooms are oriented toward the front yard. Both are completed with Alabaster light fixtures, large windows with wood sills, phone/cable jacks and paneled doors enclosing standard closets.

The two rooms are served by a full bathroom, which includes a single vanity topped with ceramic tile, complementary vinyl flooring, and a shower/tub combination with faux white tile fiberglass shell.

Completing the home is a large bonus room and small computer workstation area.

Both include partial walls that overlook the main floor below.
