Man arrested after bus bomb threat

MONROE — A Community Transit bus was evacuated Thursday afternoon in Monroe after a man said he had a bomb.
Several commuters sent text messages to friends and relatives who in turn called 911, according to a police affidavit. The driver also set off an alarm to summon help.
The 24-year-old Everett man was arrested and jailed for investigation of threats to bomb.
No bomb was found.
