Everett City Council, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, City Council chambers, 3002 Wetmore Ave. The council is scheduled to vote on a proposed $1.8 million contract with KLB Construction of Mukilteo for groundwork at the Everett Riverfront District.

Everett Planning Commission, 6:30 tonight, Everett Station Weyerhaeuser Room, 3201 Smith St. A public hearing is planned on the Marshland Subarea Plan, a long-range fish and wildlife restoration and recreation plan that examines more than 1,000 acres of land on the city’s southern fringe.
