Bear spotted in central Everett

EVERETT — Police are looking for a bear or several bears spotted in central Everett. One animal was reported to be larger than 300 pounds.

There were three separate reports overnight, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.

The first two sightings were in the Madison and Fleming area around midnight, he said. The third report was about 2 a.m. in the 8400 block of Broadway.
