This week’s featured new home is a Craftsman-style, four-bedroom, two- and one-half bath two-story in the Cavalero Ridge development east of downtown Everett. It was built by Burnstead Construction and has territorial views of Everett’s city lights and the Olympic Mountains.

“The Constance” model stretches over 2,900 square-feet of living space and includes an upstairs bonus room, downstairs home office or fifth bedroom, and two-car garage.

Standard features include slab granite countertops, point-on-point ceramic tile backsplashes, five-inch hardwood flooring, custom cabinets, plush carpeting, wood-wrapped lower-level windows, nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel with black accent appliances, and pre-wiring for security.

The home makes its first impression with an elegant foyer and ceilings that expand to the second level. A formal dining room is positioned to the immediate right and dressed with extra-thick molding.

Straight ahead, the formal living room includes a corner gas fireplace trimmed with a slate ceramic tile hearth and border, framed by a wood surround and mantel.

Adjacent, to the left, is a built-in credenza and overhead bookcase. Two oversized wood-wrapped windows bring in natural light and overlook the back yard.

An extended center island in the kitchen is topped with slab granite with a two-compartment stainless steel sink inset. The kitchen also benefits from custom paneled cabinets with crown molding, hardwood flooring, tile backsplashes, a pantry closet and upgraded appliance package.

Completing the main level are a laundry room, home office, powder room, and the two-car garage, which is enclosed by a single door with privacy glass and electric opener. The powder room includes a pedestal sink and Alabaster light fixtures.

A switchback staircase ascends to the home’s sleeping level.

French doors open to a bedroom suite, which features a generous sleeping area large enough to incorporate a sitting or reading area. The suite is completed with a spa-like five-piece bathroom and large, walk-in wardrobe closet.

Bathroom appointments include a double vanity topped with ceramic tile, matching tile flooring, a soaker tub encased in a tile surround beneath two corner windows, a freestanding shower with tile surround and clear glass enclosure, and a private toilet.

The remaining bedrooms are above-average in size, and one has a walk-in closet. All are served by a full bathroom that has a shower/tub combination.

An expansive bonus room completes the home.
