It was a great evening at South Sound Speedway for the 1st Annual Outlaw Compact Auto Racing Invitational 100 presented by Squires Machine. A posted $4325 in awards were paid out at the end of a super 100 lap event that saw completion fierce throughout the pack and all 100 laps.

The lion’s share of the payout, $1500, went to winner Steve Green from Snohomish, WA and a Evergreen Speedway Regular. A near full field of 22 cars took to the track with entries representing not only the Outlaw Compact Racing series, but also Evergreen Speedway, Ephrata Raceway Park, Columbia Motor Speedway, Douglas County Speedway, Agassiz Speedway, and the hosting South Sound Speedway.

The Outlaw Compact Racing Series has established themselves as a true Touring Series and is gaining the respect of Race Fans, Drivers, and Track Promoters alike. The close completion is quickly becoming the headline at any of any of their appearances.

Special thanks to Squires Machine for their sponsorship and support, The Sign Stop for their support, and South Sound Speedway for hosting this Great Racing event.

The next event for the Outlaw Compact Auto Racing Touring Series is at State Line Stadium Speedway, Post Falls, ID in conjunction with the Idaho 200 next weekend, July 31, August 1st, and August 2nd, with the Outlaw Compacts on the racing card for Saturday and Sunday August 1st and 2nd. Check out State Line Stadium Speedway’s web site for particulars of the expensive racing program over this exciting weekend. Joe and Walt Doellefeld put on a show for this event that is not to be missed.
