Published 9:31 pm Thursday, August 27, 2009

Janet Wold is back in Everett as part of the Artists In Great Spaces program, using this opportunity to show the range of art she has created over the last 10 years.

It’s not just the animal art that she is known for, but an eclectic mix of subjects and materials.

“I have totally filled my wonderful space on Wetmore, from wall to wall, with paintings, sculpture and original linocut prints.”

Janet Wold’s studio is at 2831 Wetmore Ave., just up from the Comcast Arena. She plans to be in the studio five days a week through Sept. 30.

Art in Great Spaces is a program aimed at making downtown Everett more dynamic with seven local artists setting up shop in downtown storefronts and practicing their crafts while passersby observe, talk to the artists and learn. This second session of Art in Great Spaces runs through Sept. 30.

Artists will post studio hours and will make art available for viewing and purchase.
