SEATTLE — A Seattle police honor guard has raised a flag on the Space Needle to honor fallen Officer Timothy Brenton.
The flag raised today shows a police badge with a black band through the middle and Brenton’s badge number — 6699.
Police continue to look for the killer who shot him Halloween night and wounded a rookie officer as they were parked reviewing a traffic stop.
Brenton’s funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at KeyArena. More than 1,000 cars are expected to take part in a procession that leaves at 9 a.m. from the University of Washington on a route through the city.
